Guest Terms

These terms apply when you use a venue's web chat, text messaging or guest experience powered by Afterset.

1. Your relationship is with the venue

The venue — not Afterset — sets its hours, admission rules, table availability, prices, refund policies and event details. Afterset supplies the technology that lets the venue communicate with you. A message does not create a reservation, ticket or binding commitment unless the venue's own staff expressly confirms it.

2. AI and human assistance

Some messages are generated by an artificial-intelligence assistant and are identified that way at the start of the conversation. The assistant is not a person, emergency service, medical professional or crisis counselor, and will tell you truthfully if you ask whether you're speaking with one. You may ask for a member of the venue team at any time — in web chat there is a control for it in the header, and over text you can reply PERSON.

3. Prices and payments

When a required total is quoted, every mandatory charge known to the venue is shown with it, in the same message — never a partial headline price. Government-imposed tax may be shown separately where the venue hasn't included it. Payments are processed for the venue by its own payment provider; the venue's own cancellation and refund policy controls unless applicable law requires otherwise.

4. Safety and emergencies — do not rely on the assistant for emergency help.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical attention, call 911. In the United States, call or text 988 for suicide or crisis support. A message suggesting a safety concern may pause the automated conversation and alert authorized venue staff, but Afterset does not guarantee that staff will see or respond to it immediately.

5. Messaging

Text messaging is also governed by the SMS Terms. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorized access, or submit unlawful, threatening or deceptive content.

7. Availability and accuracy

Venue information can change, and online services can be interrupted. Confirm time-sensitive details directly with the venue when it matters. To the extent permitted by law, Afterset is not responsible for a venue's own acts, omissions, services or decisions.
